Neon wilderness originally formed from rehearsals taking place in drummer Charlie’s garage during the pandemic. Since then, the band has begun developing a cohesive sound using original compositions as a vessel for improvisation. The band draws from a wide variety of influences in the jazz idiom, and often finds themselves at the crossroads of avant-garde, electronic, and folk music. In March of 2022, the band recorded a full length album entitled Underline, which is set to release winter of 2022.
